So, I’ve tested Flock, and I’m giving up on it. It’s nice, but it just doesn’t support as many plugins as Firefox. I still want to be able to blog from any website in my browser, so I’m trying out the ScribeFire extension. Posting from it right now. It integrates well with most blogs, and it seems to work just fine with my WordPress blogs.

  • Hey Jameson,

Sorry to hear that you're not sticking with Flock. Just so you know, most Firefox extensions do work with Flock. Save a few that just plain don't work, most should work or pop a warning and then work. They may affect the performance of the browser (just as they do to Firefox), but they should work.

    Have a good night,

  • The big clinchers for me are Tab Mix Plus, Adblock Plus, Foxmarks, and Gmail Skins. Without those it's just not my kinda browser. Tab Mix Plus has problems with Flock. The other big thing would be the Firefox 2.0 features like automatic spell checking.
