Alright, so I was talking to some friends on WrongPlanet, and I’ve decided to start a video blog where I juggle and wear my jester costume while talking about things… current events, whatever. I just have to get a domain name, design the new site layout, etc. This post is to give anyone paying attention a heads up of the plans, and to beg for topic suggestions. Just put some comments on this post if you have any ideas.

P.S. I think I’ll try to make the blog at least a weekly thing. If I get enough feedback I’ll update more often than that.
Update: The site is up. It’s called Blog Jester! . I should be posting my first vid to it soon.

So I’ve been listening to The Linux Link Tech Show for a while now. Probably about the closest I get to the Linux community. I’m a bit anti-social, so forums and LUGs (Linux User Groups) aren’t really big on my list of things to join. I like this show though, because I can listen to it for a couple hours every week and stay up to date on the news in the Linux world.

At the end of every show they list thier Frappr map shoutouts. My name is in their most recent show (#183) near the end.

I probably won’t be doing any major updates to the site for the next couple weeks. I’ll be working on my brother’s site, installing a CMS, Gallery, and maybe a forum.

And I’ll probably be spending a lot of time with my new TV.

Woohoo! I ordered my new television today! It’s a 37 inch Olevia LCD flatscreen. Ordered from amazon, only $700. Cheaper because it has no tuner. It should arrive in 3-7 days. I’ve been waiting for this for a while - I’ve been living with a 14″ TV, and playing games on that just isn’t as fun as with a bigger TV. This thing is just big enough to fill my entertainment center.Yet another new site layout put up last night. This time I think I’m sticking with it. I like the colors. Please comment to let me know it you like it.

There’s a total lunar eclipse tomorrow night, but with all the storms lately, there will probably be too much cloud cover for me to see it. Oh well.

I’ll probably be working on yet another new site layout this weekend. So far i’ve been using free templates designed by other people, and I’d like to design my own. We’ll see how that goes.

Edit: New site design’s up… based on another free template, but I like it. I also put up a new forum.
